Andrew Nishimoto, Principal
With over 15 years of leadership experience in a wide range of roles, Andrew provides excellent insight into the growth opportunities of an organization and some of the potential pitfalls. Having served as an Executive Director for multiple nonprofits focused on meeting basic needs and community development, he brings practical solutions to enhance organizations in every project. Additionally, Andrew has been a certified CCAT facilitator for many years and has worked with groups ranging from large international foundations to small local nonprofits helping them grow their capacity and increase their impact. Throughout his professional journey and to continue to enhance his work, Andrew earned certificates in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace and Nonprofit Human Resource Management. He loves playing soccer, basketball, pickleball, eating Taco Bell, and watching movies with his kids!

Amanda Waters, Senior Consultant
Amanda is a clinical psychologist and a health equity and community well-being advocate. After receiving her doctorate, she worked on several college campuses as a therapist, administrator, and leader of equity and belonging efforts. She has served on multiple nonprofit boards throughout her career and loves the opportunities to contribute to ideals and goals larger than herself, advancing these through coalition-building and meaning-making. Amanda is eager to work alongside organizations to build momentum, hone priorities, and craft strategic plans, enabling sustainability and growth. In particular, she thrives in spaces that bolster community and belonging. She pursues learning and earned a certificate in Women’s Entrepreneurship. Amanda brings an incredible ability to understand the organizational culture and identify opportunities to advance equity and justice within your community. She is an avid reader and can’t wait for her next warm chocolate chip cookie.

Liz Luevano, Associate Consultant
Liz is a nonprofit and education professional with experience in communications, operations, and teaching. She is passionate about empowering communities through storytelling and is focused on building strategy, growing brand recognition, and providing operational support. Liz has honed her skills in increasing engagement and fostering strong connections with the community. Her passion for storytelling has allowed her to craft narratives that resonate with diverse audiences and drive meaningful outcomes. Motivated by the impact of organizations, she is eager to get involved in opportunities where she can develop and expand communications and strategic plans. With her teaching experience, Liz brings a unique perspective to fostering relationships, training and communicating with diverse populations. In her free time, she loves taking spin classes, enjoying a walk, going to coffee shops and reading.

Tim Hausmann, Affiliate Consultant
Tim Hausmann is an arts administrator and strategist with over 20 years of experience in the arts and culture sector as a consultant, researcher, executive administrator, and practitioner. He specializes in organizational capacity assessment, infrastructure and systems refinement, and culture strengthening. Tim most recently served as Executive Director at Heartbeat Opera, an indie opera production company in New York City. Prior to Heartbeat, he was a Senior Consultant on the Nonprofit Effectiveness team at TCC Group, a national social impact consulting firm. In 2021, Tim co-authored a research report for the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) on museums’ organizational sustainability and capacity needs. Other select clients include Hennepin Theatre Trust, Brass City Charter School, National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA), Rodeph Sholom, Candid, and American Association for People with Disabilities (AAPD). He has also worked in numerous arts organizations, including The Broadway League, New York City Center, and Hennepin Theatre Trust (Minneapolis, MN). Tim has a Master of Arts in Arts Administration from Columbia University - Teachers College. He recently got into competitive crossword puzzling and is loving it.

Catherine Ward, Affiliate Consultant
Catherine is an Aspen, Colorado native who works with nonprofits and foundations on strategic planning and capacity building. Catherine provides critical support and content knowledge, specializing in community-based data collection, research, strategic framework development, and familiarity with Colorado communities! In her time at TCC Group, a national social impact consulting firm, Catherine oversaw numerous strategy and development projects in the areas of strategic planning, grantmaking strategy, board development, and organization evaluation. Before joining the firm, Catherine graduated from Scripps College with a degree in environmental analysis and a focus in art history. Catherine’s past clients include National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI), American Association for People with Disabilities, Prep for Prep, Calhoun School, Indiana Black Expo, National Domestic Workers Alliance, and New York Life Foundation.

Maggie Wilson, Affiliate Consultant
Maggie Wilson is a seasoned marketing and communications professional with a decade of experience leveraging dynamic storytelling to advance the marketing objectives of performing arts nonprofits. As Marketing Director at The Marsh in San Francisco, Maggie led comprehensive marketing efforts for 400 performances annually across four theaters. In her role as Marketing and Communications Director at The Chautauqua Theater Company, she consistently achieved revenue targets and increased attendance throughout the intensive nine-week Chautauqua Institution summer season. As a freelancer, Maggie has collaborated with esteemed cultural institutions such as the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Playwrights Foundation, California Shakespeare Theater, Transport Group, Heartbeat Opera and others. Her diverse portfolio underscores her expertise in enhancing visibility and engagement within the arts community. Outside of work, Maggie enjoys coffee, reading, and yoga.

Amanda Verwys, Associate Consultant
Amanda VerWys is a social worker and communications expert with over 10 years of experience translating stories into actions. Her job is to get to know brands, organizations, entrepreneurs, and individuals and find the value propositions worth articulating to audiences around the world and in our backyards. After a career in action sports and digital advertising, she earned her Masters in Social Work. She coaches and empowers individual volunteers, leads groups, and develops campaign strategies. Amanda is a multi-passionate, multi-faceted, and multi-hyphenate professional who brings her layered and intersectional lens to craft individualized communication for you and those you serve. When she’s not at work, Amanda enjoys cycling, traveling, studying French and finance, and spending time with her family and her dog.

Jocelyn Fermin, Associate Consultant
Jocelyn Fermin is an enthusiastic non-profit professional with experience in operations and research. She advocates for communities and crafts innovative strategies to remediate complex operational and community challenges. Her interest is sparked when witnessing the direct and indirect impact social injustices have on families and the community's empowerment and care when rallying together to support their neighbors. Known for her attentiveness, tactical thinking, and motivated leadership. Jocelyn is fearless in jumping into opportunities where she can create and implement new strategic plans. She creates and fosters relationships to move these programs forward and to create sustainability. In her free time, she enjoys fiction books, searching for the perfect tomato soup and grilled cheese, or you may find her enjoying the outdoors with friends and family!
